Hi. My name is Joe McLean and I am the Real Food Warrior.  I have many years experience under my belt as a chef, wine educator and observer of culinary trends. My motivation for creating this blog is to tell the stories of all those people on this fine planet of ours who care about what they grow, transform or ferment.  The end result is important but so is how they got there.  The world’s different cuisines and gastronomic traditions are a celebration of our history, our diversity and our talent. They’re worth preserving.
